Post-doctoral Research Associate position in Nuclear Theory Group, Physics Department, Brookhaven National Lab Position starting date: October 1, 2016 The Nuclear Theory Group of the Physics Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), https://www.bnl.gov/physics/NTG/, is looking for a post-doctoral Research Associate to work on theoretical nuclear physics starting in the fall of 2016. The candidate chosen would be hired for a term of two years.The group’s research interests and activities are concentrated on QCD and Strong interactions, including research on QCD andhadron structure, on hadronic spin physics, on QCD at high energies, temperatures and densities, and on their phenomenological applications, aswell as research insupport of current and future facilities and experimental programs in Nuclear Physics.A Ph.D. degree in nuclear or particle physics is required.
