Quantum field and string theory - Postdoc at IHES, Bures-sur-Yvette

IHES offers a 3-year postdoctoral position in theoretical and mathematical physics beginning September 2016 directed by Prof. Vasily Pestun with focus on mathematical and formal aspects of quantum field and string theory.

All candidates with background in string theory, quantum field theory, conformal theory, supersymmetry, topological field theory, integrable systems, quantum groups, exactly solvable models and interested in working on mathematical and formal aspects of quantum field and string theory are encouraged to apply.
The IHES scientific environment provides superb conditions for research in theoretical physics.

The position will be covered by highly competitive package funded by ERC that will include family housing in IHES residence apartments.
