Job description:
This is to announce a 3-year postdoctoral position at the Institute of Physics, Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland.
The lattice theory group hosted in the Department of Discrete Field
Theory, lead by Jacek Wosiek, pursues various
research interests ranging from diverse applications of Lattice Gauge Theory
to study full four-dimensional QCD, through development of new techniques to attack unsolved yet problems (e.g. the sign
problem), to other non-perturbative approaches like dimensional reduction and supersymmetry.
We invite applications for research in any of the above broadly defined areas.
The position is associated with a research grant of the National Science Centre and does not involve any teaching duties.
The postdoctoral position will commence in the summer of 2017, not later than 1st October 2017. For more information contact Jacek.Wosiek@uj.edu.pl .
Candidates should send their CV, publication list and a statement of research interests to the above address by 15th May 2017. They
should also arrange two (preferably three) recommendation letters to
be sent to the same e-mail address within the same deadline.
