Post Doctoral Fellow (Physics and Astronomy)
The University of Delaware
Newark, Delaware
 
The University of Delaware, Department of Physics & Astronomy/Bartol Research Institute invites applications for a postdoctoral position in particle theory/particle astrophysics/cosmology, which should become available around May /June, 2017.
 
Members of the theory group include S.M. Barr, T.K. Gaisser, I.Gogoladze, Q. Shafi and T. Stanev.
 
The research interests of the theory group include neutrino physics, dark matter physics, particle astrophysics, LHC and physics beyond the Standard Model, and cosmology. Related experimental activities in the Department and Bartol include IceCube, VERITAS and ANITA.
 
The appointment will be for two years, with possibility of renewal.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ph.D in physics with specialization in theoretical high energy physics/
• Particle astrophysics/ cosmology, refereed publications, and the ability
• To carry out both independent and collaborative research, and to
• Interact with graduate students.
