Job description:
The Center for High Energy Physics at Tsinghua University (TU) invites applications for three postdoctoral positions to work in the LHCb experiment at the LHC. The TU-LHCb group plays an important role at LHCb in the study of B hadrons and quarkonia productions, CP violation in B decays, search for and study exotic states including pentaquarks, and also the study of heavy-ion physics.

The position is initially for two years with possibility to extend to three years or more. The gross annual salary will be from 240,000 to 300,000 CNY (about CHF 34,000 to 43,000) depending on experience and competence. The position is based on Beijing China, with occasional travel to CERN as needed.

The successful candidate is expected to play a major role in the data analysis of exotic states, or rare decay and CPV in charm sector, or heavy-ion physics. He or she should also perform detector related works, such as setting up an initial simulation study of further LHCb upgrade for phase2, software work for tracking and alignment for the LHCb detector. A PhD in experimental high-energy physics or post-doctoral experiences in experimental high-energy physics is required.

Interested applicants should send their applications (a curriculum vitae, a brief description of your research interests, a list of representative publications, and at least three reference letters) to
    Liming Zhang (liming.zhang@cern.ch),
    Zhenwei Yang (zhenwei.yang@cern.ch),
