Job description:
Applications are invited for a Research Associate/Fellow position to work on the properties of simulated nearby galaxies within the Euclid Survey to study the ability of this future mission to study galaxies.
Professor Christopher Conselice is a leading member of the Euclid team, and this post will consist of interacting with the team, examining existing data from Hubble and other telescopes to determine how best to detect and analyse imaging data from the Euclid satellite.
Simulations of imaging, and source detection experience are essential as well as a relevant PhD and previous experience of handling of imaging data and survey science.
This is a full-time, fixed-term post for a period of 10 months.
