The high-energy/lattice-QCD group at Michigan State University is seeking to fill a Research Associate position to start in Fall 2016. We are particularly interested in candidates who would be able to contribute to the new Large-Momentum Effective Theory(LaMET) project, particularly in improving the uncertainties in the parton distribution functions (PDFs) for new-physics searches. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in perturbative and nonperturbative lattice renormalization, nucleon matrix elements and disconnected-diagram calculations.
