Job description:
The Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Bologna has approved the opening of a position in the Theoretical Physics group in the following research area:
Phenomenological applications of string theory to particle physics and cosmology
The position is at the level of fixed-term Assistant Professor and will begin in Fall 2016 for three years (renewable for other two years if funding will become available).
The interests of the group include a wide range of topics in particle physics, quantum field theory, string theory, black holes and cosmology. The vicinity of the local INFN and INAF sections provides in addition a stimulating environment for research.
