Job description:
The high energy physics group at Drexel University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in experimental neutrino physics. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on detector R&D for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment, as well as the PROSPECT and NuLAT reactor-based short baseline experiments. This work will be strengthened by other active areas of research in the Department of Physics, including neutrinoless double beta decay with EXO-200 and nEXO, astrophysical neutrinos with IceCube, and direct dark matter detection with PICO.

This position is for one year initially, renewable for up to three years subject to available funding. A PhD. in physics or related field is required, and doctoral candidates should indicate the expected date of completion for all degree requirements. The successful candidate will have a background in experimental nuclear or particle physics. Experience with instrumentation, data analysis, and simulation is desired.
