Job description:
The research groups associated to the research initiative "Quantum Gravity Theory and Phenomenology” of the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) anticipate the possibility of recruiting a postdoctoral researcher later this year. Funds availability will also depend
on the quality of the candidates that express interest, and we therefore invite pre-applications. There is no firm deadline for pre-applications but priority will be given to those received by the 21st of March (2016)
We expect the position to be for two years and eligibility might be restricted to researchers who did not have an Italian affiliation for the last 3 years (in particular, Italian researchers can apply only if they have worked abroad for the last 3 years).
The project has "units" in
Bologna (led by R. Balbinot)
Cagliari (led by S. Mignemi)
Sapienza, Roma (led by G. Amelino-Camelia)
SISSA, Trieste (led by S. Liberati)
Pre-applications should just include a CV, the names of 3 referees who could write recommendation letters during the actual application phase, and an indication of one or two of our units which would be preferred work places for the applicant.

Priority will be given to applicants interested in research in Quantum Gravity Phenomenology and connected research areas, such as analog models, quantum field theory in curved spacetime, and Planck-scale deformations of relativistic symmetries.
