JOB DESCRIPTION

The Instrumentation Services and Development Division (ISDD) is responsible for the development, design, construction and support of instrumentation for the experimental stations and the accelerator complex. As part of the ISDD Office you will be responsible for the management of the project portfolio which involves ISDD resources and play a central role in the further development of the project management structure at the ESRF.

Your main missions are the following:
- Create and keep updated the ISDD Project Portfolios
- Manage the allocation of all ISDD resources on these projects and activities
- Consolidate and follow-up the status of all the projects and activities
- Assist the project managers, ISDD Group Heads, and Unit leaders in project planning and resource allocation
- Liaise with the project offices of other divisions


PROFILE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Higher university degree (Master, MSc, DESS, Diplom, Diploma, Ingenieria Superior, Licenciatura, Laurea or equivalent) in Engineering or a relevant discipline
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience
- Competence and experience in project management and associated tools
- Knowledge in scientific instrumentation or a previous experience at a large scale facility would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills and sense of flexibility
- English proficiency (working language at the ESRF)


WORK CONDITIONS

The annual gross salary will be within the range 37- 50 k€ and additional allowances may apply.
