Search for postdoc in particle physics
The Particle Physics Division of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic invites applications for particle and nuclear physics postdoc position for data analysis of the NOvA experiment at Fermilab. The department has existing experimental research strength in neutrino physics affiliated with the research infrastructure project for collaboration on Fermilab experiments. Candidates interested in the research areas are particularly encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in physics or a closely related field. The successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous research program, continue development of scholarly activities and professional capabilities, and participate in department governance. Candidates should sent applications to lokajick@fzu.cz. The application package must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae with a publication list and a research statement. Applicants should arrange for at least two letters of recommendation to be directly emailed to lokajick@fzu.cz. To ensure full consideration, complete applications should be received by April 1, 2016. The expected starting date is immediately after choice of a suitable candidate. The position is planned for 2 years with possibility of extension.
