Senior Research and postdoctoral Positions –
Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
The Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, is recruiting junior and senior research staff across a range of research disciplines. Fellowships and postdoctoral positions are available at several levels in fields including particle physics, nuclear physics, nuclear technology, astrophysics, condensed matter physics, chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology, biophysics, and computing.
Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. and strong research record. Details of the requirements for different levels of fellowship as well as the desired research topics can be found athttp://english.ihep.cas.cn/ IHEP will provide all necessary research facilities and equipment as well as a research grant according to the level of fellowship obtained. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
IHEP is China’s premier research institution for high energy physics and related fields. The Institute hosts international high energy physics experiments including BESIII, Daya Bay and JUNO, and is leading the bid for the future Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) project. Other facilities include the Yangbajing Cosmic Ray Observatory, Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility and China Spallation Neutron Source. IHEP also has research programmes in space-borne experiments and accelerator-driven subcritical systems. Most posts will be based at the main campus in Beijing, with some positions at the Dongguan campus in Guangzhou.
