Job description:

The University of Mississippi Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2016. The department is seeking a candidate in the areas of  Physical Acoustics or High Energy Physics, an experimentalist or theorist.  UM is home to the National Center for Physical Acoustics, a world class research facility which has strong ties to the Department of Physics. Candidates in High Energy Physics  should expand current UM research efforts at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and articulate a plan for participation in the future neutrino program at there.

Interested candidates should apply online at https://jobs.olemiss.edu.
