The Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw
invites applications for one post-doctoral position to begin in October 2016.
The position is available within National Science Centre (Poland) founded project “Investigation of
Multicomponent Dark Matter in the Context of Search for Fundamental Theory of Electroweak Interactions”
(Principal Investigator: Prof. Bohdan Grzadkowski).
The successful applicant is expected to conduct research in theoretical particle cosmology
and in particular in models of multicomponent dark matter and other non-WIPM scenarios.
The project is based at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw (Poland), and involves
collaboration with partners at the University of California Davis and the University of
California Riverside. The position is intended to be two years in length, however,
the appointment will be renewed year to year. The remuneration is
about 5000 PLN/month subject to income taxes and social security, employee receives
additional full 13th salary after 12 months of employment.
Travel money of at least 6000 PLN/year is guaranteed.
Applicants should have a PhD in high-energy theory or theoretical particle cosmology
and have demonstrated excellence in research in these areas.
