RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITION IN EXPERIMENTAL PARTICLE PHYSICS WITHIN THE LHCb GROUP OF TU DORTMUND

The LHCb group at TU Dortmund University invites applications for a 2-year post-doc position (TVL-13) starting as soon as possible.

The LHCb activities at the TU Dortmund are coordinated by Prof. Bernhard Spaan and Dr. Johannes Albrecht, with in total currently 5 senior researchers and 16 PhD students. The successful applicant will join the Emmy-Noether research group of Johannes Albrecht. The new group member is expected to play a leading role in the analysis of rare leptonic and semileptonic decays of beauty hadrons. Contributions to the construction of the Scintillating Fibre detector for the LHCb upgrade and the High Level Trigger are welcome.

Applicants must have a PhD degree in experimental particle physics or in arelated field. Experience in data analysis are mandatory. Applications including CV, list of publications, statement of research interests and three letters of reference should be send to
