Job description:
The Theoretical Particle Physics group in Siegen is inviting applications for Postdoc positions in Theoretical Particle Physics, starting around October 2016. The positions are according to the German employment scheme (TVL 13) and are for the duration of 2 years, with a possible extension by one more year. Applicants should have experience in particle physics phenomenology. In particular, we are interested in quark flavour physics, Higgs and electroweak physics, jet physics, physics beyond the Standard Model, higher-order calculations in QCD, QCD sum rules, effective field theories, Monte-Carlo event generators, and lepton-flavour violation.
