Job description:
The LHCb Team of LPC welcomes applications for a PhD position in the LHCb collaboration, in view to study the charmless decays of b-hadrons with the LHCb spectrometer using amplitudes analyses.
LPC (UMR 6533) is a unit belonging to both the Université Clermont Auvergne (UCA) and the HEP institute of the french research center CNRS-IN2P3 (Institut National de Physique Nucléaire et de Physique des Particules).
The research activities of our laboratory are led in an international context and organised in 4 departments. Among them figures the Universe and Particles Department in which this thesis work is offered.
PhD students at UCA benefit from lecture courses, seminars, workshops, shift periods at CERN. The Lab also take in charge french lecture duties for non french-speaking people.
