The Center for Theoretical Physics at Jilin University is pleased to announce the immediate availability of faculty positions with specialization in but not limited to theoretical Particle and Nuclear Physics, including the fields of effective field theories in particle physics, QCD at extreme conditions, perturbative and nonperturbative QCD and the application of lattice QCD to all aspects of strong interaction physics.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics and have at least two years post-doc experience. We also invite the individuals specialized in astrophysics, high energy physics experiments and theoretical condensed matter physics to send us application documents.
The successful candidate is expected to initiate and maintain a strong research program, seek external funding, and demonstrate excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The salary for the successful candidates is competitive. We also offer a competitive seeds funding for the successful candidates.
