The research group lead by Professor Julia Mundy at Harvard University expects to appoint a research associate beginning in the Summer of 2018.
The research associate will lead the group’s effort in the synthesis of novel quantum materials by reactive oxide molecular-beam epitaxy. We seek a candidate with extensive prior experience in molecular-beam epitaxy and thin film characterization. Experience with oxide molecular-beam epitaxy and the growth of perovskite thin films and superlattices are greatly preferred.
Applicants should have completed a PhD and preferably a postdoctoral research appointment in physics, materials science or a related field. The starting date is flexible, but should be within a year of application.
