Job description:
The experimental high energy physics group at the National Central University invites applications for a postdoctoral position with our CMS program at the CERN LHC. The position is nominally renewed on a yearly basis. The postdoc is expected to be based at CERN, with travel to Taiwan about once per year (for attending national conferences/workshops).

The group of Prof. Shin-Shan Yu had played a major role in the measurements of inclusive photon cross section, rapidity correlation between Z boson and jets, search for high-mass Higgs boson, searches for exotic particles predicted by composite Higgs model and extra dimension, and searches for dark matter.
The primary responsibility for this position is to participate in our CMS Run 2 physics program to search for exotic new particles using boosted object and to participate in the Phase 2 upgrade of the endcap calorimeter: High Granularity Calorimeter.  Depending on the interest, selected candidate also has an opportunity to work on the detector design for future colliders or small dark matter experiments.

All applications, including a full resume with a list of most significant publications and at least three recommendation letters, should be sent to Prof. Shin-Shan Yu via syu@phy.ncu.edu.tw.
