Postdoc in High Energy Physics (Theory) - Beyond the Standard Model.
In the context of the EOS (Excellence of Science) program in Belgium , the project "The H boson gateway to physics beyond Standard Model” will start 1st of Jan 2018, as a collaboration among Université Catholique de Louvain (F. Maltoni) and ULB-TH (T. Hambye), ULB-EXP (B. Clerbaux), U. Gent (D. Dobur) and U. Antwerpen (N. Van Remortel) and VUB (S. Lowette).
Within this program, the UCL offers a postdoctoral position (2 years) starting in Fall 2018 in the topic of high energy Beyond the Standard Model phenomenology. The applicant should have a PhD in theoretical high energy physics at the time of the appointment and being in mobility. The research activity will focus on precision predictions and indirect constraints for searches of dark matter and more general hidden sectors at the LHC. The candidate is expected to have an outstanding record of research activity in particle physics phenomenology.
The successful candidate will join and reinforce the pheno group at the Centre for Cosmology, Particle Physics and Phenomenology, working on LHC precision phenomenology (Fabio Maltoni and Claude Duhr), Dark Matter searches (Chiara Arina), neutrino phenomenology (Marco Drewes) and flavor physics (Jean-Marc Gérard).
