The Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University expects to fill an assistant Professor tenure-track or tenured faculty position in theoretical high-energy physics, with broad interests in applications of quantum field theory.
Preference will be given to candidates who could interact with cosmologists, medium energy, and condensed matter physicists. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program and to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
