Theoretical cosmology - Postdoc at The University of New South Wales

Job description:
The School of Physics at the University of New South Wales invites applications for a full-time 2-year fixed-term postdoctoral researcher position in theoretical cosmology, commencing in 2018. The appointment will be made at Australian academic Level A (Associate Lecturer), with an annual salary in the range of AU$91,743 – AU$98,127, plus 17% superannuation.

About the role
Applicants should possess, or be about to obtain, a PhD in physics or a related field, have a strong background in theoretical cosmology or theoretical astro-particle physics and have demonstrated the ability to carry out independent research.  The successful candidate is going to work with Dr Jan Hamann and will also have the opportunity to interact with other members of the theory group.
