The Theory Group at the Physics Department of the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and INFN Rome, invites applications for several
POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS
in the field of particle physics phenomenology and astroparticle physics in the Standard Model and Beyond. The senior members of the group are Guido Martinelli, Antonello Polosa, Enrico Franco, Luca Silvestrini, together with several postdoctoral researchers, doctoral candidates and master students.
The position is expected to be filled in the fall 2018, early appointments are welcome. The initial appointment will be for two years, renewable for a third year upon successful performance. The approximate net salary will be in the range 24-28 kEuro, depending on the experience of the candidate. The research topics of the group cover a wide variety of subjects in Theoretical Particle Physics including Flavour Physics in the Standard Model and Beyond, Electroweak Symmetry Breaking and Higgs physics, Exotic Hadron Spectroscopy, Physics beyond the Standard Model, Collider Phenomenology, Dark Matter. The Physics department of "La Sapienza" and INFN Rome also includes many experts covering other areas of particle physics, as well as strong experimental groups involved on almost all current and forthcoming experiments in particle physics. Close collaboration exists with the local experimental groups.
