Shanghai Jiao Tong University (http://sccp.physics.sjtu.edu.cn) conducts experimental and theoretical
research at the interface between traditional condensed matter physics and the newer field of
quantum information, including topological quantum computing, unconventional and high-transition
temperature superconductors, topological quantum materials and strongly entangled many-electron
systems. Professor Tony Leggett, 2003 Nobel Prize laureate, is its founding director and Professor Ying Liu
is its executive director. The working language of the Center is English. Several non-Chinese faculty members are currently working at SJTU Physics and Astronomy.
