I am forming a Research Group associated with IIT Guwahati and the Centre/Ashram for the Studies of the Glass Bead Game. This is a preliminary call to join the group as a postdoctoral fellow or a sister university/institute. The group will host Fulbright and Kothari Fellows, and other Fellowships. Young students can be accommodated easily as short term interns.
So if you are interested in pursuing beyond the `bread and butter' thread of thought, and help create a first-principle academic ambiance please consider joining the group.
We are in the process of negotiating local support that would include a study, and possibly a humble housing. Research funding is also being applied for.
