Job description:
The University of Minnesota Physics Department has an immediate
opening for a Post-doctoral research associate to work on the
Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at the CERN Large Hadron
    Collider.

The CMS group at the University of Minnesota (Mans, Rusack, Kubota)
has leading roles in the calorimeters of the CMS detector, including
the development of innovative uTCA electronics for the CMS Hadron
Calorimeter electronics and key efforts in the operation and
calibration of the Electromagnetic calorimeter.  The group is also
playing a leading role in the development of the new CMS endcap
calorimeter for the High-Luminosity LHC.  Group members have
leadership roles in CMS physics analyses with interests ranging from
searches for exotic particles to Higgs and electroweak physics.

The successful applicant will be primarily based at CERN and will be
