Job description:
The T2K groups at LLR (Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France) and IRFU (CEA, Saclay, France) have an opening for a postdoctoral researcher in experimental particle physics to work in T2K on neutrino cross-section measurement.
The position, based at LLR and IRFU, is for 2 years and can start as soon as possible. A good experience in T2K and its physics would be an advantage.
Preference will be given to young graduated candidates, applying for their first post-doc.
The LLR and IRFU groups are engaged in the measurement of Charged Current neutrino interactions with Zero Pions (CC0pi) on Oxygen with the T2K near detector data. The candidate is expected to work on this subject. The project will also include studies on neutrino interaction modeling and on the optimization of the near detector upgrade, in relation with the CC0pi measurement on Oxygen.
The review of applications is starting now and will continue until the position is filled. However, priority will be given to applications received before the deadline of April 15th, 2017. The job can start at the earliest convenience.
