Job description:
The Institute for Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Würzburg invites applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical particle physics to be filled in the fall of 2016.
The initial appointment will be for two years with a possibility of an extension. The applicants should have experience in collider physics and/or higher-order perturbative calculations.
The theoretical particle physics group currently consists of 8 faculty members and postdocs and about 10 PhD and master students. The research focus is on particle phenomenology, in particular LHC physics.
The group is part of the particle theory network funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
