PhD candidate in particle physics - Student at Zurich U.

The University of Zurich is seeking students with a masters in physics 

and a focus on particle physics to apply for a PhD position.  UZH has 

a well-established experimental group searching for heavy TeV-scale particles 

decaying into boosted jets with substructure at CMS.   We also have leading groups in 

theoretical calculations of high-order QCD necessary for predicting experimental 

observables.  We are searching for a PhD candidate who will work closely with both 

experimentalists and theorists, led by Professor Kilminster and Professor Gehrmann, 

respectively, to measure processes that interlink new particle searches and QCD.  

The PhD topic offers a unique opportunity to the successful candidate to work at the
