                                               Postdoctoral Position in High Energy Theory


    The High Energy Theory Group in the Department of Physics anticipates a position in theoretical high-energy physics to be available as of September 1, 2017.  The position will be at the level of Postdoctoral Research Associate with a PhD degree in Physics. The appointment would be for one plus one year, with the possibility of renewal for a third year depending on performance and funding.  Research interests for the position should be beyond Standard Model phenomenology including new physics model building, Higgs physics, collider physics, dark matter models and detection etc.  Members of the group are JiJi Fan, Antal Jevicki, David Lowe, Marcus Spradlin, Chung-I Tan and Anastasia Volovich.  Applicants, through their lists of publications, CV’s and three letters of recommendations, should demonstrate superior research abilities in the area of theoretical high energy physics.  Candidates are invited to address inquires (including curriculum vitae and list of publications) and to arrange for three letters of reference to be sent to (http://academicjobsonline.org) by December 15, 2016.
