The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University invites applications for a three year postdoctoral position to begin on 1 April 2017. The position is under the supervision of Professors Gregory (at Durham) and Moss (at Newcastle) funded by a Leverhulme grant: “Challenging the Standard Model with Black Holes”. The researcher will work directly on the project with Professors Gregory and Moss as well as pursuing their own lines of research. Applicants should have a strong track record working at the interface of gravity and quantum field theory.
