Job description:
The string theory group at the Institut de Physique Théorique of CEA/Saclay invites applications for several postdoctoral positions in String Theory, funded by the ERC Starting Grant “Emergent spacetime and maximally spinning black holes” (M. Guica) and by the joint Saclay/Ecole Polytechnique French ANR grant "Black Hole Microstates and de Sitter landscapes in String Theory" (I. Bena-M. Grana/G. Bossard-E. Dudas).
The appointments will start in Fall 2017 for an initial period of two years. Extension to a third year is possible subject to performance evaluation and funds availability. The applicants for the joint position with the Ecole Polytechnique are expected to divide their time roughly equally between the two institutions.
