High Energy Theoretical Particle Physics (1965) - Junior at Michigan State U.

The Department of Physics & Astronomy (PA) invites applications from outstanding candidates for a faculty position in the area of High Energy Theoretical Particle Physics at the Assistant or Associate Professor tenure system level. We are seeking applicants specializing in perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics (pQCD). MSU has a strong experimental group working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), a leading theory effort in pQCD and physics beyond the Standard Model, and a history of fruitful collaboration between experimentalists and theorists. Applicants should exhibit the potential of running a world-recognized independent research program, and should show promise of becoming excellent teachers at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The term of appointment would begin on or around August 16, 2016.
