The Manipal Centre for Natural Sciences (MCNS) at Manipal University, India, invites applications for faculty positions (research) in Mathematics.
Researchers working in any area of pure mathematics are encouraged to apply. Applicants with a specialisation in algebraic geometry will be welcome.
We seek candidates with an outstanding, established record and good leadership skills to sustain rapid growth in Mathematics.
Research positions are available at the level of Assistant / Associate Professor. A minimum of three years post-doctoral experience at an institute of repute is required for the post of Assistant Professor. With these appointments, Manipal University wishes to establish itself as a premier Mathematics effort in India.
Towards achieve this goal, the Dr. T. M. A. Pai Chair in Mathematics has been established at MCNS with Prof M S Narasimhan as the Chair.
