Job description:
The group ANTARES/KM3NeT at IFIC (Valencia, Spain) offers a postdoc position to work in the experiments ANTARES and KM3NeT.

IFIC (Instituto de Fisica Corpuscular, http://webific.ific.uv.es/web/en) is the largest particle physics research center in Spain and has been recently recognized by the Program "Severo Ochoa Centers of Excellence".

The ANTARES-KM3NeT group at IFIC has a long experience in both experiments, located in the Mediterranean Sea. ANTARES has successfully shown the feasibility of the undersea water Cherenkov technique with a rich harvest of scientific results which is foreseen to continue in the following years.

KM3NeT has started to be deployed and will mean a tremendous step forward in the neutrino astronomy field. The main scientific goals are the determination of the neutrino mass hierarchy, the identification and study cosmic neutrino astrophysical sources and the indirect search for dark matter.

The recently-open neutrino window offers a unique opportunity in the next years to make significant scientific contributions to hot topics both in Astroparticle and Particle Physics.

Deadline: June 19th 2016
