Postdoc positions in Quantum field theory and String theory
The quantum field theory and string theory group at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS) in Beijing plans to fill two or three postdoc positions. The position will start from September 1st, 2016, or later as agreed upon. Employment will be for two years, with the possibility of extension for a third year. ITP-CAS offers competitive packages to support postdoctoral researchers.
Research interest of the group includes: scattering amplitudes and form factors, gauge/string duality, quantum gravity and black holes, higher-spin gravities, conformal field theory, topological string theory, integrability and localisation. The faculty members of the group include Yi-Hong Gao, Song He, Wei Li, Gang Yang and Ming Yu. As one of the most prestigious research institutes in China, ITP-CAS offers a broad range of activities in theoretical physics, including particle physics, cosmology, condensed matter physics, and so on.
