Job description:
The Department of Physics at The College of William and Mary invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position, jointly funded with Jefferson Lab, in theoretical nuclear or hadronic physics beginning in Fall 2016.   The successful applicant will work with members of William and Mary nuclear and particle theory group and their colleagues at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility,  on a program of studies in areas including perturbative and nonperturbative aspects of interactions described by quantum chromodynamics,  strong and electroweak interaction processes in nucleons and nuclei, including calculations related to precision tests of the Standard Model,  and other subjects that overlap with the WIlliam and Mary and Jefferson Lab scientific programs.
