Astroparticles, Cosmology, and Particle Physics - Student at OCEVU Labex

Job description:
In the framework of its "Investments for the Future" programme, the French government organized calls for "Laboratories of Excellence" (LabEx), in order to select through an international selection committee, projects to form a few clusters of excellence all over France in all fields of research.

Our LabEx project OCEVU has been selected in 2012 and has been granted a 10M€ funding over 8 years. The OCEVU LabEx (Origins, Constituents, and EVolution of the Universe) is built on the theoretical, observational and experimental strengths and synergies in Cosmology, Astroparticles and Particle Physics of 6 laboratories: CPPM (Center for Particle Physics of Marseille), CPT (Center for Theoretical Physics), LAM (Laboratory of Astrophysics of Marseille) in Marseille, LUPM (Laboratory Universe and Particles of Montpellier) and L2C (Laboratory Charles Coulomb) in Montpellier, and IRAP (Institute for Research in Astrophysics and Planetology) in Toulouse.

The OCEVU Labex is recruting 3 outstanding doctoral candidates for projects covering the fields of Astroparticles, Cosmology, and Particle Physics. The call is now open and will close up to MARCH 31st, 2016. The doctoral positions are expected to start in October 2016.
