Spacetime near non-expanding horizons - Postdoc at University of Warsaw

General Relativity group at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw is inviting

applications for a postdoctoral position in mathematical relativity starting in winter of

2016. 

 

The appointment duration is two years with monthly salary of about 1000EUR (4000PLN). 

 

The successful candidate is expected to extensively contribute to the program of analysis of black hole 

solutions to classical Einstein's field equations, both vacuum and non-vacuum. Thus, prior experience in solving Einstein's equations is required with particularly welcome experience in differential geometry, group theory and methods of solving systems of non-linear partial differential equations. 

Since part of the research involved will be the advanced symbolic calculations the past experience with special computer applications is required.
