Job description:
The cosmology group at the « Laboratoire Univers et Theorie » (LUTH) of the Astronomical Observatory of Paris and the Institute of Astrophysics of Paris (IAP) invite applications for one joint postdoctoral position in the framework of the ERC-Starting Grant EDECS (Exploring Dark Energy through Cosmic Structures) coordinated by Dr. P.S. Corasaniti and in collaboration with Prof. B. Wandelt.
Candidates with interests in non-linear structure formation, dark matter, dark energy and/or cosmological simulations are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have demonstrated outstanding research creativity and have the potential to develop and lead projects in collaboration with members at LUTH and IAP.
The appointment is for two years starting in the Fall 2016, although an earlier starting date is also possible. Candidates should have a PhD in Physics/Astronomy by the starting date. The deadline for applications is 20 February 2016.
