Job description:
The Accelerator Division of the Collider–Accelerator Department, is seeking a postdoctoral candidate interested in beam physics, especially collective effects, and radio frequency physics and engineering. The candidate must be well versed in general physics and have demonstrated competence in theory or experiment. Detailed knowledge of radio frequency or beam physics is desirable but not necessary. The candidate will work with the accelerator physics and RF groups in the accelerator division doing both theory and or experiment with particular support for new projects. The candidate is expected to spend roughly 20% of his/her time on accelerator based research that will be published in peer reviewed journals.
