Job description:
The theoretical physics group of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, Korea invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position starting in September 2016. The starting date of the appointment is negotiable.
Interested candidates should have research experience in areas of string and/or gauge theory related to AdS/CFT correspondence, gauge/gravity duality, their applications to strongly correlated systems etc. The initial appointment is for two years, which is renewable up to one additional year depending on the research performance and the availability of resources.
Applicants should submit pdf files of their CV, list of publications, brief statement of research interests and arrange for at least three letters of recommendation to be submitted electronically to gist.ctp@gmail.com
