Job description:
The Physics and Astronomy Department at the University of Bologna is offering two post-doc positions in Theoretical and Computational Cosmology to work on the SIMCODE project funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, University, and Research (P.I. Dr. Marco Baldi).

The two successful applicants will work with Dr. Baldi on the development and analysis of large numerical simulations of non-standard cosmological models. One position will be primarily focused on large-scale matter clustering, while the other primarily on gravitational lensing analysis. Candidates with a strong background in theoretical cosmology and/or with significant previous expertise in large-scale cosmological N-body simulations, high-performance computing, and cosmological data analysis will be given higher priority.

The positions are for two years each and the salary is at the top of the pay rate allowed by the university regulations, with sufficient fundings for traveling and computing, and are supposed to start between May 1st and (no later than) September 1st, 2016.
