The Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS, Beijing) invites applications to fill one or two postdoc positions in the research areas of QFT and String Theory, especially in directions of scattering amplitudes and string/gauge duality.
The position will start from spring to fall in 2016 and the initial appointment is for two years. Candidates with a Ph.D. in high energy theory are encouraged to apply by sending CV, list of publications, research summary and plan, and three letters of recommendation to songhe@itp.ac.cn. Review of applications will begin on January 31, 2016, however the positions will remain open until filled.
ITP-CAS is one of the most prestigious research institutions for theoretical physics in China. We have several active research groups in the areas of string theory, particle physics and so on. The successful applicants can also benefit from the year-around research programs at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in China (KITPC).
