Two postdoctoral positions in string theory, the AdS/CFT correspondence and/or integrability
This is to announce two postdoctoral positions at the Institute of Physics, Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland. The string theory group centered around Romuald Janik pursues various research interests ranging from diverse applications of the AdS/CFT correspondence to integrability in gauge/string theory. We invite applications for two positions of approximately 1.5 year duration in any of the above broadly defined research areas. The monthly salary is expected to be equivalent to around 2000 EUR.
Due to the grant regulations these positions will have to end on 20th March 2018. The postdoctoral positions will commence on 1 st October 2016, however there may be flexibility in starting earlier or taking the position for 1 year only. When applying, candidates should indicate their preferences for i) the full 1.5 year period, ii) 1 year only or iii) up to 2 years but starting before October 2016.
