Job description:
POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN THEORETICAL HIGH-ENERGY PHYSICS

The particle physics phenomenology group at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin plans to fill
two postdoctoral positions starting in fall 2016. One of the two positions is aimed for more
experienced candidates and offers a five year perspective.

The department of physics at the Humboldt-Universität has a broad activity in theoretical par-
ticle physics, including phenomenology, lattice gauge theory, and string theory. In addition the
physics department participates in the ATLAS experiment and is strongly engaged in various
astroparticle physics experiments.

As far as the phenomenology group is concerned, the scientific interests of current and future
group members include particle physics phenomenology at ongoing and future colliders, higher
order calculations within the Standard Model, top-quark physics, as well as research towards
possible Standard Model extensions.

Interested candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent and a strong scientific back-
ground in theoretical high energy physics, with a particular emphasis on collider phenomenol-
ogy. In case of interest please provide a CV, a list of publications and a description of research
interests, as well as three letters of recommendation by December 12th, 2015, preferably via
email.
