The Lattice and Effective Field Theory (L/EFT) group in the Physics Department at Duke University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position starting September 1, 2016. Applicants should have received a Ph.D. degree before the start date and have expertise in an area of research of interest to the group. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: effective field theories, lattice field theories, quantum chromodynamics, and nuclear and high energy physics. We also encourage applications from quantum condensed matter physicists with expertise in quantum monte carlo methods in strongly correlated systems who are interested in exploring applications to nuclear physics. Applications must include a CV, a list of publications and talks, and three letters of recommendation.
