The Center for High Energy and High Field Physics (CHiPS) at the National Central University (NCU) in Taiwan is seeking to hire a postdoctoral associate to help study the feasibility of detecting the Unruh effect using its in-house 100 Tera-Watt laser facility.
CHiPS is a newly formed center at NCU, funded by the Ministry of Education. The position is available immediately and will last 1+1 years, with the possibility of renewal.
The postdoc will be working closely with the two gravitation and field theory faculty Chiang-Mei Chen (cmchen@phy.ncu.edu.tw) and Yi-Zen Chu (yizen.chu@gmail.com). Do feel free to write to either/both of them should you wish to obtain more information regarding the position.
